Description

I have never managed to image this object before, but the other night in spite of the severe light pollution here, I could actually see about 40 stars in the sky, as oppose to the normal 20! I was amazed at this, and I have no idea why that was so, therefore I decided to try and image what is quite a difficult object for me. I am pleased that I managed to just about bring out some faint nebulosity to the north and the south of the object. It is barely there, but at least I captured it a bit. Suffice it to say, the skies stayed clear all night, and I got 45 subs at 8 minutes long each - 6 hours integration time - well 5 hours and 58 minutes and 3 seconds to be exact - but who's counting!? I took this through my 8" scope, using my Canon 700Da, using my duo filter. Thanks everybody...
